I wanted it to go with a Samsung TV and it is quite unsuitable for that for several reasons
as people write here, the bluetooth range is functional about 1m, somewhere further between 1 - 2m already starts to drop out, which if you want to control the TV from the couch, you will be with the keyboard waving in the air to catch you
I wanted to control a smart TV and found out that smart TV apps don't have a cursor most of the time (Netflix, disney, youtube, etc) and some don't support the keyboard at all (iBroadcast). This means that the keyboard functionality is at the level of the arrow keys and the enter button, which is even more uncomfortable than normal control
