very slow response - like parking meters in Prague.
the handset relatively quiet; the call is audible, but even at maximum volume the handset is quieter than other phones - and I wouldn't expect that from a phone for seniors
although the launcher is customized to giant icons, the system icons on the bottom bar are large by default, so hitting the back or home button is not exactly free for seniors

My only regret is that I didn't get my grandmother a long time ago. Compared to push button phones, it's significantly easier to use, you can clearly see what it's doing. Plus, she'd have longer experience and wouldn't be as bothered by the change.
Size - seniors often have to wear their mobile phone around their neck, the phone is too big for that. Something at least a third smaller would be good.
For example. the button to switch applications takes the senior to a place where he doesn't understand what's going on. Likewise the photo viewer is a common android, it would want a big launcher alternative.
