We bought the kettle primarily for the purpose of being able to brew coffee in an aeropress while traveling by car. It's great to set your desired water temperature and have enough volume for tea for someone else. What I guess I hadn't thought about is how long the water would take to boil. An estimated 300ml at 20-25 degrees was boiled to 95 degrees for approximately 20-25 minutes. For me then the usability is reduced because realistically you have to brew on the go, how long a litre would brew for I can't even imagine. The kettle is probably from somewhere in China, the inscriptions are in Chinese as well as the buttons which are covered with a piece of sticker. On the other hand, the system can be understood by numbers. The kettle is glossy, there are fingerprints on it and it reduces the temperature readability a bit in the daytime. I eventually returned the kettle, the cooking time is too long for me. It limits its usefulness to longer journeys only. However, it has to be said that compared to similar pieces for the car, the cooking time does not stand out from the norm - in short, I'm probably not the target: )
