I've been using it for about 3 weeks. As far as ambient sound dampening is concerned, I didn't notice a difference between these plastic and regular foam earbuds.
I give it two stars for the fact that it muffles ambient sounds. Of course, I give only two, since it dampens as much as regular foam plugs for a few crowns.
On both plugs, the grip that it pulls out by broke off. I had trouble getting it out of my ear at night. Maybe I had it too deep. However, when I had it less, the plugs would fall out.
Too high a price, for the fact that it dampens as much as regular foam earbuds.
I feel it presses more in my ear. With foam, the pressure is distributed evenly on all sides.

They can push when sleeping on their side. But you can either use just one plug, or you can put the plug in carefully so that it is not tucked all the way in, and then lie down so that the rubber stem bends to the side rather than pushing more inside the ear.
The sound is noticeable, with the window open I am not woken up by crickets, cars or dogs
They're holding up and they're not falling out
They don't hurt, they don't swell and they don't make my ears sweat
Long stem pushes when sleeping on the side unless I put the plug at the perfect angle
