Attention for customers with HP 3050 printer, a year ago Alza toner still worked great for me, but now the new tanks which probably have slightly different chips don't take. So you can't run new toner on a printer. PS: To avoid throwing away the new toner, out of desperation I opened the tank and dropped the refilled sponge into the old tank with the old chip and it still works and continues to print.
