I only recommend it for smaller and lighter laptops, then it's a great pad. It folds almost flat, the floor plan is significantly smaller than a laptop. The mat is also lightweight, which makes it very portable. However, the portability takes a toll in the form of lower stiffness and the small size in the form of lower stability. I recommend you look at the dimensions - the pad is indeed significantly smaller than I expected based on the pictures. For my two and a half pound laptop, it's just about at the limit of usability.
Next time I will look for a more solid and stiffer pad. But again, it has its strengths, and for some it may be the best choice.
Compactness, portability.
Low weight.
Adjustable inclination.
If you have a 15' laptop, the rear, supporting part of the stand base is about half the width of the laptop. It's not exactly stable. The depth is also rather shallow and definitely does not contribute to stability.
The stiffness is not what it could be.
The rubber pads could be sturdier too, so that it sticks better on the table.
Quite expensive for what it is.
