Beautiful finish. The varnish is semi-transparent, which is probably why optical mice don't have the problem to work without problems.
Overall, the board is not perfectly flat on the ErgoTable ET2 design. Diagonally it is a little twisted, but it is only visible with a spirit level and practically it doesn't matter. (I don't know if it's the board, the construction or the hands. )
