I was hesitant to buy because of one very negative review. In the end, this customer turned out to be a deer. He tried to remove the black plastic, which is part of the cover. If you want a different color or transparent protective glass, take a good look at what you're putting in your cart. I didn't want a black cover either and didn't notice.

You can easily peel off the glass from the lens cap of the mobile phone to create a photomodule. According to the picture here on the web I tried to peel off the black "tape" to leave a clear transparent glass. But it all came unglued. I tried a second time and it broke.
