For me, it's better than those special lights that have to be mounted on the monitor and usually have limited options for adjusting the light direction. I use it with my monitor, but mounted on a shelf slightly to the side, so it doesn't shine on the monitor, but on the keyboard and papers next to it.
Performance comparable to other similar ones
It lights up even when connected to a USB power source
Battery with sufficient life
Clip for mounting on a shelf
flexible neck allows you to adjust the direction of the light
5 intensity levels and the option to adjust the light temperature
When operating on battery, there is a risk of total discharge; the charge status must be monitored.

A perfect little lamp for reading books. It's tiny, lightweight, has a clip, and shines exactly where you need it – right on the book. So it doesn't disturb anyone else in the room. And the price is friendly. I doubt I could find a better little lamp. I'd recommend it.
Several settings for brightness intensity and colour temperature.
a clip for attaching to a book
The lamp isn't heavy. You can't even feel it on the book.
Even though it's really light, you can stand it on a table and it won't fall over
