Already purchased 3pcs for the family. The only disadvantage was e.g. about older cars e.g. Golf4. Fabia and Octavia 1 you don't put in the grille. I take that as a car problem not a product problem.

I bought 3 of these mounts, the first two in the WF300 version, the last one in the WF400 version. Mechanically, I think they're identical.
All three of them after about a year of (not too intensive) use I had to complain with the same defect - one of the pawls comes loose (something inside breaks), the phone falls out (usually while driving, which is a very pleasant experience - there is a risk of a crash or damage to the phone), and continues to be in the holder properly or not at all.
I have always been correctly refunded, but this product is probably the worst I have encountered here.
As long as it doesn't break, it works fine

First impression absolutely perfect. Well thought out. The holder works exactly, elegantly, as it is supposed to, as advertised. The idea of automatic attachment and release is simply brilliant. However, I used "only" the holder, because, due to the universal dimensions of the ball studs, I could have stayed with the arm, which I have taped with double-sided tape from a previous, different holder. That's great. Thus, I can't evaluate how the gel "add-on" of the original strap works. But I can say that the original hanger also gives a very solid impression. What I did use (for my wife's cell phone in the passenger seat), however, is a grille bracket on which, via a universal ball stud, I placed my original "gravity grip" bracket. This Alza ventilation hanger (holder) is also perfectly functional. Definitely the most advanced of all similar "do vents" I have ever tested.
