I purchased the processor as an upgrade from my Ryzen 7 2700x and the performance increase is more than double. I've mounted the MB: MSI B450 TOMAHAWK MAX, of course after flash bios to version 7c02v3c3.
Everything works without a problem. Load temperatures do not exceed 75 °C, the maximum I have seen is 72 °C, but on the other hand I have a pretty good cooling system. And this is from Arctic - Liquid freezer II 360mm aio.
VRM temperatures are kept within 60 °C. (maybe due to the fan at the pump that cools the VRM)
I'm happy with the processor, I recommend it to anyone who wants to not only play but also work with render programs: -)
