I bought the camera with the requirement to be able to connect it directly to the network in the place where the cable for connecting the light in front of the house was led, at the same time to capture the whole area in front of the house, which would not be possible with a stationary camera. In this respect the camera works well, it detects motion with the sensors, points to the area where the motion was detected, finds out if it happened in the preset marked zone and (depending on the settings) if a person was detected, then starts recording and sends a notification. False positive notifications are zero, unfortunately I can't evaluate if something escapes the camera. But some things don't work as they should, degrading the original intention of using it as a light and as a camera (see disadvantages).
Everything you need for assembly is included in the package and assembly is not difficult.
Motion detection even out of the field of view and motion tracking (but for example a running child will run away and not even turn around to follow)
Detailed setting of detection zones.
The image quality is good, but 2K is no mean feat, getting a clear image of the face is not exactly easy even on a clear day, as the face can only be seen from a certain distance due to the typical placement of the camera above the entrance. At night with infrared the subject is blurry when moving, but this is similar with all cameras at this price level.
Uploading to NAS via RTSP stream does not work, respectively. the stream turns on and off depending on whether the camera detects motion (continuous stream is not supported), everything seems to work, but after about 1-2 hrs. the stream is no longer restored, verified also via VLC, the stream simply disappears, making this feature completely unusable. Everything starts working again when the camera is restarted. Of course, by testing it worked fine, I only found out after I had everything mounted, otherwise I would have returned the product.
The internal memory is very small, enough for 4 days of recordings with not too many events per day.
There are a lot of things you can't set, for example I would like to record every time I move, but only get notifications for people. (This would solve the NAS that doesn't work).
Similarly, the light does not function properly for my purpose and I have it permanently turned off for the summer for now. The sensors seem to be too sensitive in my case, and they turn on the light even when there is movement from the street and from neighbors. It is only possible to set the light to come on when a person is detected, but not in already set detection zones. It is not possible to set ranges of times when the light should be on, etc.
The cooperation with smart assistants also doesn't seem to work very well, I was only able to turn the lights on and off at most, and not always. Cooperation with home assistant is very complicated and limited.
Some functions (e.g. detection of a specific person or any automation) only work if you also own home base.
