The main purposes of the case are positioning and protecting the display when carrying it in a bag. In addition to the different positions on the table, it provides a more secure grip when holding the tablet with one hand (you can hold the folded triangle). The case is lightweight and does not make the tablet noticeably larger. Perhaps the biggest drawback is that the same surface that adjoins the screen is also laid on the table. If you put your tablet outside or on a dusty table, dirt will be transferred to the screen. The case also magnetizes very strongly to some metal surfaces.
