good performance and hopefully nice power consumption and extra (paid) features from nvidia as a bonus against amd competition
for me, it was rated as the best performance/price option compared to my previous graphics card (I only chose nvidia) - the 4060 was cheaper but not as financially rewarding and the 4070 also didn't have a reasonable performance bump compared to the price bump. Bought in black friday sale, which certainly helped the rush to buy and the offer was the most advantageous at that time on our market of verified shops
a real upgrade after the transition from the old generation, no matter what the virtual percentages of extra performance are, can sometimes be real even just a few units of fps. this is an expensive card that is realistically only mainstream and nothing with a bomb performance

Smaller box, but a better interior than the RTX 4070 Asus Dual, which like the RTX 3060 Ti Asus Dual or RTX 3070 Asus Dual versions, really didn't work out
Small bus width, so at higher resolutions than 1440p the FPS drop already occurs.
Noisier than the RTX 4070 Asus Dual OC that I had to try out.
