Signal is great, we have a router behind the wall and even so I achieve with this adapter similar speed as on Ethernet. Great for a prefab apartment where there is no ethernet connection at hand.
The antenna has a great range even if I hid it behind the PC case, of course it can be added to the case itself, but it would disturb the appearance - of course I understand why it is there.
It is not the cheapest, but for the price you will be very satisfied.

I can write my very specific experience on two desktops after three months of operation with Tmobile optical Internet (1Gbit) in connection with their optical Wi-Fi modem, I have a download speed of 700Mb/s on both PCs with these cards, which I think is a blast. Modem in the middle of the apartment, large apartment, both PCs on opposite corners, min 1 wall. I'm satisfied.

The antennas are not fixed, for example they can be replaced if damaged
