First impressions of the album are not bad. I have it equipped with AMD Ryzen 7950X and 2x Kingston FURY 64GB KIT DDR5 5200MHz CL40, i.e. a total of 128 GB RAM. I picked it because it has a 10 Gbps network connection and Thunderbolt. It has WiFi and BT, I don't really need WiFi, but BlueTooth is handy. I haven't tested the speed of the 10 Gbps LAN adapter yet, because I don't have a switch and cabling yet, and I don't have a network cable that fast in the NAS. So far I have tried it in 1 Gbps mode and I find it unstable, the internet was dropping out. I don't know if it's something in my network, I hope they fix it in the next drivers. I put in a second 2.5 Gbps adapter (it has an Intel chipset) and it is stable and no problems. For me, the only major drawback that I knew about in advance is the lack of a digital audio output. That pissed me off with a record like this for the price. I had to buy an external sound card, I don't really use the analog output. Another weakness is the RAM speed, which is reduced to 3600 MHz when all 4 x 32GB modules are installed (BIOS version 0805 from November 2022) and I could not reach higher speeds. I've read that this is common behavior. I don't know if another BIOS will solve it, hopefully. But the speed is still excellent, it's just a shame. For being a modern board it boots slower (in fast mode) than a 5 year old board. There's quite a delay before you press the button and post. But it's manageable. If 128 GB RAM is installed, the initial memory training takes minutes. It's just the first run, which is ok. But if there is an unexpected button start or post break etc, then a new training will occur.
Thunderbolt/USB4
WiFi (I don't use it)
Lots of USB outputs
2.5 Gbps + 10 Gbps LAN
BT
4x M.2 connector
It has no SPDIF !
The unstable 10 Gbps LAN seems to be
Limited RAM speed with 128 GB RAM
Long POST
Very long memory training during unexpected restart etc.
