The keyboard not only looks but also behaves sturdy - it is solid, heavy, no platypus). The keys are linear, have a nice smooth press, but are not very quiet if you type fast (but probably not the case with all mechanical keys) - I would not recommend for the office or other common areas. The backlight offers a wide range of configuration options, either in the base or through the keyboard software.
I have a negative opinion of the keyboard software. It is again a "piggishly" written application that has unnecessary subpackages and many times is not even able to identify the keyboard or other ASUS device (for me, reinstalling the application helped). The missing wrist rest is not a big deal, this keyboard can work without it, but it's a shame it's not included. The cable from the keyboard is really stiff and thick, I understand that there are 2x USB (one for the keyboard and one for the USB-A hub), but it could still be improved.
Probably the biggest "complication" are the F5-F12 keys, they are hidden behind the Fn function key, otherwise by default they function as multimedia Play/Pause, Stop, etc.

Quite a high quality keyboard, which is really good to type on. According to the manufacturer's declarations, the switches can withstand up to 100 million presses, which is twice as many as the competition. The backlight colour is widely adjustable in Armoury Crate, including the option to set a more conservative static monochrome option. The backlight must be turned on, because the key labels are grey and hard to see without the backlight. The ENTER key is a two-line key and the backslash key is next to ENTER. The keyboard is slightly noisy, the keystrokes are quite audible. The connection cable is unbraided, rubbery and very thick, and 2 USBs are needed to connect the keyboard. The keyboard also has one free USB A port for connecting a mouse or anything. It doesn't have a palm rest. Otherwise, perfect. I recommend it!
