The parameters are excellent, but the performance remains behind expectations. The thermal management is also a big disappointment. The display, the numeric keypad in the touchpad and good connectivity deserve praise. Overall, it's not a bad machine, but with a not-quite-low price tag, a plastic design and an average keyboard.

After a week of use, I am satisfied with the laptop. The laptop is lightweight and very powerful. The battery lasts all day, so there is no need to carry a charger. It has enough ports for normal use. Plus you get a stylish case in the package. You can see every fingerprint on the laptop, both on the display and on the design. But they're pretty easy to remove with a microfiber cloth: - ). Some may miss the SD card slot. Summing up, I highly recommend the notebook, it absolutely fulfilled my expectations. So if you are hesitating over the purchase, you will definitely not make a mistake with this laptop.

I've had the laptop for a week now, I got it for my job as a programmer. Performance-wise, there is absolutely nothing to complain about, it runs absolutely silently most of the time, and the battery lasts me a whole working day without any problems, even though I don't save it. The only thing that doesn't quite suit me is the keyboard. I'm a bit spoiled by the Type Cover from Surface, and here the key layout is uncomfortable in places. In addition, the keys are a bit phonier and noisier, but - as I write - I'm pretty spoiled in this respect.

I bought the device as a successor to the 5 year old Zenbook UX480 (i7, 16GB RAM, upgraded to 1TB SSD). TLDR: I am very satisfied with the purchase and selection. Long version: The new Zenbook is beautiful, light and powerful. I read all the reviews and waited for the availability of the i9/32GB RAM version. The old 16GB is no longer sufficient for my use. Design - I have been servicing NTBs for many years, so I would never buy a Lenovo, for example. Structurally, Zenbook is very robust, nothing cracks, easy to open/close and overall it has the feeling of a premium device. Admittedly, it's a blister catcher, hey. But they can be wiped off with a nice cloth. Performance - a new dimension. At idle the fan is almost not suffering, CPU about 5% at normal work what I need. On the old one it hit 40-100%, repainted every 6M due to temperature. 32GB RAM is great, too bad there is no slot for expansion, but for now it is more than enough. Display - very praised but from the previous UX480, where it was free fullHD panel it is not such a change. It is good to look at, beautifully rendered, but it didn't blow me away. But that was not my condition. I'm not a graphic designer, I can't judge the display of colours etc. The display is nice to look at and I have nothing to complain about. Battery - I write at the first use on it after 48 hours setup of the whole machine. After 4 hours without compromise I still have 40%, great for me. On M2, which I also have, it does not fit but still very great on a Win based laptop. The biggest change - I don't know that I am not connected in the network, NTB is still super fresh. Temperature - this is not a gaming laptop, and if you give it a working load, it will keep up and not blow too much. I have balanced mode, I haven't tried performance yet but it has only one fan. It is hardly possible to expect a silent fan at this size of NTB when rendering video. For me great, according to the reviews I expected much worse thermal management, here and there blows away, through the music while working it is not even felt. Looks like the initial problems with the new HW are overwhelming, I haven't got any BSOD since I took it out of the box. If you're put off by Reddit reviews, don't take it so seriously and try this fesaka, for this price it's an unbeatable machine. Asus did not disappoint me again, I am glad I waited for the new Zenbook, it was worth it.
Ultra light
Very efficient
Great display
Gorgeous design
NumPad on touchpad
the package does NOT include the Asus Pen and RJ45 dongle, empty spaces in the box
quite a lot of bloatware after the first power on
USBC on the other hand would be nice but there is a big fan so: )
I would appreciate a microSD slot, the old Zenbook had it
