By the time I managed to update the firmware after maybe 2 hours, I had 100 urges to smash it. Neither the browser app nor the mobile app worked at all. Unfortunately, I expected more from the quality of the network. Worst ASUS solution I've ever had at home. The features come at the expense of the design, which is great and not a distraction. But next time I prefer 2x "classic" router with external antennas and mesh function. Only the design, the possibility of OpenVPN server (but nowadays it can also be solved via DDNS) and rich configuration options for more advanced users can be evaluated positively. But I cannot recommend the product in general.

I've been using ASUS routers for a good number of years, so I know the admin environment, but this was a bust - it wouldn't render at all and the app didn't work either. It's been a struggle and I've been tempted to return/send it in for a claim

Works as it should, after a year of use it was not necessary to restart, 2 satellites cover the apartment sufficiently
The satellites do not have a switch, I would welcome a better user interface (the application in the mobile phone is confusing for me), one satellite according to the structure of the apartment and the construction of the wall covers only 1-2 rooms sufficiently

work natively as satellites with Asus RT-AC68U mesh router
small inconspicuous boxes with nice design
100% house signal coverage with one SSID
occasionally freezes the signal but I'm not sure yet whether it is mesh networking or already on the signal reception on the WiFi antenna
