If you are looking for headphones at home to listen to music, choose a different range than ATH-M. They are fine for working with music where clear, unabridged sound is needed.
Isolation from the surroundings

The cable runs 1 way, it is not divided
They can be folded nicely

Almost all negatives are eliminated by the m40x model, which is 800 +/- affordable elsewhere
I was expecting a better sound
The cable is not removable for m20x and m30x and that is a great pity because it is 3m!
only for home listening if the long cable bothers you.
After a while (2 hours +) it pushes on the ears -> small converters
The bass is almost inaudible
