A pretty good card for the price
There are no drivers for Win 10 and 11 Absolutely can not set the sound 5.1, 7.1. Like surround sound. It just reminds him. When I run the test, only the stereo speaker is still playing. You can't tell the other speakers apart. The software for the card is pre-potop and you can't get better. I'm not going to switch to Win 7 because of the sound system.
I don't recommend it! No manufacturer has addressed 5.1 sound lately? Awesome

I was looking for a cheap adapter from USB - optical audio output, I couldn't find a separate one on Alza, so I had to buy the whole sound system. I won't use the DAC at all, but what can I do. For 900 CZK, it's a bargain.
The manufacturer claims on its website that Windows 10 will find the drivers on its own. Which is half true - Windows 10 (updated to the latest version, January 2023) finds a generic "USB Audio Device", but the sound didn't go out of the box when I plugged in the optics. I had to download from their website their "Xear 3D SW for Windows 10", after installation "USB Multi-Channel Audio Device" appears in Windows (funny thing is that there is no mention of Axagon or Xear anywhere) and the output already works. The app is super old, like from the 90s. But I just need a 2 channel optical output, which works fine. I probably wouldn't recommend this box for anything else, I haven't tried the analogue outputs and inputs, I don't believe they would be better than from the integrated soundcard on the board.
Remark: It connects to the PC using the old mini USB and doesn't require additional power, you can tell the age of the product by this. Strangely enough, it also works in a USB 3.0 hub (some devices have a problem with this) even if it is only USB 2.0.
It meets my requirements, hopefully it won't fall apart soon.

Just a small warning as it is powered via usb it really has minimal impedance. There are two microphone outputs on the front, but they cannot be used with headsets, for example. The sound is almost invisible unless you are Uncle Pepin. Unlike pnp sets, you just push them into the socket on the sound box and you drive here by any chance. it' s just part of the kit. higher quality microwaves? you need a separate power supply. and it freezes under the wreckage that the alza and the manufacturer don' t write anywhere, and a lot of people get so drunk and then it comes back even though the soundtrack is basically not bad at all.
compared to the “summits“ that manufacturers put on their motherboards on a relatively standard sound output today

I have to add 4 stars to my previous low rating (1 star). After uninstalling the NB manufacturer's software (HP Audio Switch) and disabling "B&O Play Audio Control", I can use the ADA-71 SOUNDbox normally in full.
With the "Xear Surround Max" software, it can also do 2x stereo + subwoofer (note with 5.1 speakers, the rear speakers are connected as side speakers and the audio input as 2CH, for 6 speakers).
With the equalizer, you can set, save and name multiple custom presets (11 total equ presets offered). +26environments are useless, at least for me, I haven't explored karaoke options).
Sound profiles can't be created or saved, it doesn't automatically recognize and set anything, you have to manually, as needed, select the number of input channels (2-4-6-8 CH - different for game, different for music) and equalizer settings. But that's a small tax to pay for the ability to use a 5.1 or 7.1 speaker on a laptop.
The appearance of the application is not great, moreover, it illogically wastes space wherever it is not needed and where it is needed (e.g. when setting the surround sound or equalizer), it's almost titanic there. But with a bit of patience, after two "asses" or three "E55s", it will eventually be done.
