It makes nice waves, but it's really like a crepe maker, not a curling iron: ) Anyway, they lasted 4 days on my head. I did the whole head for about an hour. It's pretty obvious if the hair is damaged or not. I did my "healthy" part of my hair and it fell off, the damaged ends frizzed right up and held for a long time.
Relatively heavy. The lock button could be on both sides, it's a bit impractical when curling the other side of the head. And without locking, I couldn't hold the strand in the curling iron with that much force.
