I did not believe that it will work over a mattress that is 9 cm, but it was strange to me that a child would sleep on such a board, which is a common practice in Liberec maternity hospital, but after the test which is given in the instructions and also by the fact that you often forget to turn off that works wonderfully. First it starts to click lightly and then an alarm is triggered which is quite loud. But be careful, if you buy rechargeable batteries, you will be disappointed by the instructions for use, which state that you only insert alkaline batteries and the ban on the use of rechargeable batteries.
