It's not a miracle machine, but if you buy good quality fresh beans, this machine will brew excellent coffee. We have the coffee maker for the third month and it works fine, in the first week there was a complaint because quite a lot of ground coffee was spilled in the inner part under the brewing unit. At first the technician didn't know where the problem was, but then it was discovered that the top lid for the coffee pour-in had to be firmly closed during the grinding process, otherwise the vacuum was supposedly broken. And it really helped, just set the grinder correctly at the beginning (the lowest setting) and then don't open the lid anymore, no coffee falls through now.
If you set the grinder to a lower coarseness, buy a filter for the water tank and, most importantly, pour in honest fresh beans, you'll have super extracted coffee with full flavour, aroma and crema. Almost like a lever.
Very nice design of the monitor, even when one looks closer it has a really nice resolution.
Great access to the steaming unit through the front lid, not the side as with other devices.
The barista backlight under the monitor is great - it illuminates the cup during extraction, when the front lid is opened it illuminates the inside of the machine during cleaning, for example.
The double function is great for both two cups of espresso at once and doppio in one cup. It is not just a larger amount of water topped up as with other machines, but the coffee machine will perform one extraction and then start the grinder again and perform another extraction. It really does give double the amount of coffee.
The cup heating function is more or less useless, it takes at least 30min to heat the plate, another 30min to heat the cup and the machine has to be on all the time.
The nozzle for whipping the milk is very weak. It takes barista skill.
The coffee maker has an automatic flush setting on and off, which is fine - otherwise it would get moldy, but it also flushes the milk nozzle and you can't turn off the flush for just the nozzle, which I don't use, for example.
The puckering of the coffee grounds is strange, sometimes it wants to, sometimes not, the weight is right, the grounds are dry. It doesn't matter, it doesn't affect the taste.
