The lamp is powered via USB and you need a minimum USB output of 5V and 1A. I don't think that would be a problem for anybody. Socasne, but even a few years old computers have already a lot of USB ports with this or better specification. I see it as an advantage that I don't have to deal with another transformer under the table.

A very good premium product for people who want a good desk lighting without compromise.
Fits well on a 32" curved monitor.
The automatic light adaptation makes it so bright white pages hurt a bit less, and my eyes are less red than before after 14h+ in front of the screen. It's a good QoL product
