Excellent, unbeatable price. They are lighter (exotic wood) than other types, the child can carry them better, easier and assemble them. Unlike the rails with a glued joint (ball), this one is in one piece = they don't break, they don't peel off, they hold perfectly.
Definitely buy this set if you want to compose larger tracks, you'll need it for joints where two identical ends go together, the joint types!
The rails are made of some exotic wood that is softer than e.g. BRIO rails made of European hardwood - BUT it doesn't matter for use, they are both solid and precise enough for sliding trains. It is rare for rails to have a less tight joint for electric locomotives due to the wood and type of joint - rather "snags" can occur.
