I bought the base because of a driver failure of the old one. It worked for a long time, but it's control is quite prone to irreparable failure. So you only need to apply as much force as necessary when turning the dial.

Enough power and robustness for thick stiff doughs (bread totally fine) Quality looks the same as a robot of the same series bought 13 years ago. By the way, it still works after all these years, just a little hum and scrubbing gearbox.
Good combination of the shape of the whisks with the shape of the bowl. There is no unmixed residue, no lumps, the mixing is really perfect.
Lots of possible accessories. The one from the old robot can still be used normally.
Bought mainly for the whisks and dough hook, which I lost somewhere during the move. This whole robot and bowl cost the same as the accessories themselves and we have a new "motor" with a warranty because of it.
The price of spare parts and accessories is quite high. (on the other hand, the quality and durability are probably worth it)
