Quality sound in the price range, spaciousness to spare. The bass is more than sufficient even at low volume. It always depends on the placement of the subwoofer.

Control dial with audio input and headphone output.
No silly things like flash connectivity with MP3 or Bluetooth connectivity. Purely an active speaker system.

I wanted a not-too-big active speaker for my son, so it could be transported to the dorm. Like others I was also worried about whether I would get quality for the price, but really the sound is fantastic for the size of the speakers. At the maximum volume setting, the noise is negligible without a signal, and the distortion is indistinct when playing music. The bassreflex hole blows the plastic away: -) Corrections are also fully satisfactory, mids only by volume, bass has corrections and treble just need to change the direction to the head.
