I've used it once so far and I'm due for another treatment in a week. It seems to me that the hairs grow a little slower after the first application, but I'm not jumping to conclusions yet.
I waited about 10 minutes for the first glimpse: D I couldn't turn the machine on like I was afraid I would. If one is afraid, it is best to use the gentlest mode and then it is almost not felt.
I hope the device works as it should: )
I've had it less than a week, so apart from the higher price and initial fear, no negatives so far.

After about 10 min of use it started to crack, popped up various errors and completely stopped working. We replaced it with a new one, but the scenario repeated itself. Neither one could be repaired and our money was refunded.

So far I've used it only 2x but you can see small changes, but you need to use it regularly 1x a week and real results will come, I think, for the money they should: D
You have to set the intensity, it burned me with the basic one, so I downloaded it: )
