The paper feeders are plastic, imprecisely made (large clearance on the plastic axle) and very noisy when feeding paper (loud knocking). I have experience with other Laser printers. They're quiet. I would not buy this printer for my company again. Distracting at work. Unfortunately, the sound recording cannot be connected.
