I took one star off because the perfume is not very versatile. It doesn't fit every situation, every day and every season. It's more like winter, evening and flamboyant. But then again, he's very good at it. In the next review I will compare it with the popular Spicebomb Extreme. These perfumes are compared often and I really wouldn't see the point in having them both. They share a powerful dose of similar spice and the ability to dominate the space around you. But that's where the similarity ends. I find Man in Black more enjoyable and accessible in every way. Compared to Spicebomb, it has a refreshing entrance and won't bring tears to your eyes with its sharpness. Even after settling, MiB is more artificial, formal, calm, balanced, without sharp edges. I used to get sick of Spicebomb pretty soon (and didn't like it on other people either), while MiB entertained and delighted me from the first to the last moment.
The aroma is complex but clear and without disturbing notes.
Warm, but not sweet. The sweetness comes more from the chosen (almost Christmas) spices.
The projection is at first massive, later more artificial. The scent lasts for hours on the skin.
The development of the fragrance and all its phases are pleasant. At first you are engulfed by rum and fresh pipe tobacco, soon a bit of leather appears and finally there is a long and calm phase with wood, sweetness of tonka bean and spices.
The atomiser must be pressed quickly and firmly, otherwise only an embarrassed pee will squirt out.
The scent can be overwhelming, so be sparing with application.
