I have encountered squealing and buzzing through the USB power supply, the squealing was emitted by the A530 which I bought because of this and when plugged into a PC so the speaker passively buzzes. So my only option was to use the Xiamoi adapter I had for my phone and it's pretty quiet now.
the sound for the price is fine for me
highs, mids and bass are quite good
the cables are long enough for my 160x80 table layout even though I don't have it centered.
Do not plug the USB into the PC at all!
