The remote trigger met all my expectations.
You can set a 2s delay on it for long time shooting.
I have been shooting on the supplied flashlight for several years and it is still fully functional.
I tried it on the EOS 1100D, EOS 550D and EOS 70D.
The supplied protective leather case reliably protects it even if you throw it in your backpack among other things.
At night, the range is easily around 10m, so you can leave the camera outside in the winter and press the shutter from the warmth through the window: -D
In direct sunlight, the range sometimes drops to half a metre
