I don't have the bracelet for fitness or sports, but as an extended phone alarm, which works absolutely brilliantly through all the apps that display notifications on my phone. The bracelet always connects quickly with your phone when you turn on Bluetooth, just don't pair the bracelet with your phone, the excellent app takes care of everything. I run on a Samsung A40. Definitely the best functional bracelet in this price range and I've tried more expensive and cheaper ones - this is the fourth. Only battery life I would improve a little, about 3 days is not much. China for 150 CZK lasted over 5 days.

Too bad if I hadn't lost faith in the quality of the other measured values due to the large variance of the pedometer readings for the two purchased products tested on different people with different activities (office and sport) then my son and I would have kept them.

For a 193cm tall person, the pedometer varied by 40 steps per 100 and for a 145cm tall person by 50 steps per 100. Hopefully you will be lucky and it will measure accurately as some users here state.

Without the SIM card version, it does not require activity via GPS in the app. The alternative is to sync with Google Fit, but even that doesn't work properly. The only functionality is basically the heart rate measurement, but even that is unreliable, it often shows wrong readings. like riding a bike and your heart rate is 50. In the past we bought a Canyon watch for my son but without a SIM card it didn't even show the time, we returned it. This was the last time I bought a Canyon product, I guess they didn't understand what they even make and what the terms "watch" and "sportster" mean. Never again.

I'm afraid I can't recommend it. I tried it on a running race, but the heart rate measurement in "run" mode was slow to update, inaccurate, and even shut off completely afterwards. The heart rate (the most important value) is the smallest number on the display. The bracelet also cannot be connected to Strava to upload heart rate data to the running app. At rest (outside of sports mode) it only measures heart rate every 60min and this frequency cannot be overridden. In addition, you can only see the average heart rate for the whole day in the mobile app, not by the hour. So the bracelet is cheap and technically +- works like a watch and a bad HR sensor, but despite the price I can't recommend it and will be returning it. It's worth the extra cost.

I purchased the Canyon bracelet because I had already purchased a watch for my child from the same brand about a year ago and we are happy with it. I use it for both sports and leisure, so I appreciate the occasional news alerts jumping in. I would single out sleep tracking, which I often struggle with and in the morning I can look at how much sleep I actually got. I don't have anything to complain about, except that they are impossible to swim with.
