Only for common truck stuff like cell phone, laptop, e-cig etc and so far so good, for heavy caliber stuff like microwave, coffee maker etc. untested, and I don't think it's meant to be. Similarly, untested overnight, shutting down in the evening.
I've only had it a few days but it works fine, neither the body nor the socket heats up, it doesn't smell or make noise
Lighter plug doesn't inspire much confidence, like from a child's toy, but so far no problems, it doesn't heat up and holds well in the lighter

Nowhere in the specifications, photos or description does it convey the size and weight of the device. At 20cm x 10cm x 5cm this thing is a monster and too big for my travelling kit -- literally double the size of the one I am replacing (which I did not buy from Alza). Disappointed.
