Unfortunately, I didn' t post reviews. This design of the insect catcher is completely amateurish. First of all, the UV light is solved by LEDs in the upper part, so the whole cylinder does not light up to attract insects, but only a small part at the top. So you better get glasses or binoculars for the mosquitoes. Secondly, the design is only low-voltage, which means that it is not enough for the mosquito to just hit the grid and the “splash“ is after it. You have to persuade the mosquito to sit on the grid, spread its legs and hold on for a while. It only works on moths that have larger wings and “slap“ on the grid more and for a longer time. Thirdly, the coil on which the electrodes are wound is not hollow, but a solid Plexiglas cylinder. Therefore, the mosquito does not have much chance to touch both wires at the same time, because it will bounce off the cylinder rather than get between the wires. Unfortunately, these are facts that cannot be ascertained in advance from the pictures or from the product description. I absolutely do not recommend buying this shunt and, on the contrary, I recommend Alza to stop selling it. I declare with a calm heart that I threw three hundred down the drain. But I' m too lazy to return this nonsense, so it' s already in the trash. My grandmother used to say “Cheap, twice paid“ and this item is the exact definition of that saying: -(
