The microscope is very plastic, including the lenses and eyepieces, so the image quality through the lenses is not great. after a thorough cleaning of the lenses, the situation improved, but.
The "slides" are made of plastic, so they get scratched quickly and then you're mainly looking at scratches on the plastic.
