The cream was recommended for very dry (flaky skin) and problematic skin. For the first few uses the cream was "hot" on my face but after a week there was a significant improvement, the flakiness disappeared and my face calmed down. I appreciate the long lasting feeling of hydration, so just use morning and night after washing my face.
