The first surprise was after unpacking, the mp3 player had (because of imprecise assembly and shocks during transport) the controls had fallen out, but at least I could inspect it from the inside. The keys feel a bit dull, the 5 blue and three red buttons will not be what will catch a child' s attention. The need to connect the tool to an adapter or to lug a power bank with it also greatly reduces its usability as a toy. At least the power-on LED indication is pretty much missing. The keyboard is quite pleasant, the keys are nicely rounded and wide enough. The polyphony is only two-part (only two keys can play at the same time, so you have to retool for chords), but that' s common for toys at this price level. The keyboard can only play 8 instrument sounds and 8 rhythms. The sounds of the instruments are poor. Chemical, synthetic that doesn' t even come close to the sound of the featured instruments, like comparing a fizzy drink to orange juice. The whole thing is underlined by the rattling poisonous sound of the speakers, if you leave the volume at the default level, or even increase it. Well, when it comes to tuning, the pitches are probably correct, but the tone doesn' t seem to hold it constantly, or there is some kind of reverberation and maybe even vibrato in it, so it' s somewhat pulling the ears and giving the impression that the instrument is out of tune. I have not tried recording and other functions.
