Micek in similar quality to other chuckit products but the squeak mechanism lasted about 20-30 mins. After being thrown into the creek the mice immediately disappeared under the water, we have had similar experience with other chuckit mice. On the positive side, the micas last a relatively long time (even weeks) without being damaged by chewing and the dog loves them. For reference the test subject was a female wolfhound, which definitely falls into the definition of a medium breed (so far).

even though we have the eighth ball, the fault (stopped whistling) appeared only on one ball, the other balls went to loss or dropping. No bites have occurred yet (but our dog is not a destroyer)
