It was fine while it lasted but wouldn't recommend getting
soft and heats up quickly
the different temperature settings
would not heat overall evenly
broke in 2 months (the on/off switch started getting hot and making electricity noises)

I decided to return the blanket. According to the reviews here I didn't expect a problem, but my blanket heats very little even on the highest setting (although the wattage is not low). I have encountered other electric blankets in the past and they were much warmer. Contrary to the claims in the product description and reviews, the label clearly states that it is for hand washing only. I understand that probably no one reads this and washes it in the washing machine anyway, but I guess that if it was damaged by washing then any claim would be unsuccessful. I'll try another product.
