It makes great waffles, however, it is not for extended use. Unfortunately
I rejoiced for exactly 14 days. it was a Christmas present. we made waffles three times. and the red indicator light has gone off. she fell all the way in. I'm going to claim it tomorrow.

I have purchased this product 2x, both for myself and a friend for Christmas. The first time I used it, within about 15 minutes, the indicator light on both sandwich makers melted and the machine started to smoke. This sandwich maker is very dangerous of possible combustion, so I ask for a refund right away.
Reviews of the same glitch are many here, so I advise not to buy this product! I don't understand why they haven't taken this thing off the market by now!?
