I bought it as a temporary emergency. Recently, any ConnectIT product purchased has had some problem, whether it is a non-functioning piece or the quality of the design. For emergency and occasional use ok, for everyday use I recommend looking elsewhere
Good as a fallback
It is quite capable of cooling a laptop with RTX card under load
Fans can be switched off on the pad
Really noisy. Even at the lowest speed. It squeaks, crackles, snorts. It's almost unbearable. I only turn it on under load
Lower quality design (starting to become standard with ConnectIT)

I used it for my laptop, the pad (it' s plastic) seems to crease the lines in it, my ntbk is about 2.5 kg and it just wasn' t stable under it. you' d better pay 7e and buy an Aina 14 pad than I did: )
