Once you have registered with corel.com, you can deactivate the license on one device after installation on that device and then reinstall it on another device via your online account. The licence is therefore permanent and transferable.
A lot of the problems I had with X6 when switching to win 10 are a thing of the past in this version.
Corel Photo-Paint is much better than the previous version X6.

Support for loading files of many different non-Corel formats.
Export to many formats with many parameters.
When compared to the X6 version, this version on win10 has significantly slower rendering of my older more complex projects in CorelDRAW (about 10000 objects or more), and so every time I zoomed in, I was waiting about 1 second to re-render, instead of the fraction of a second in the X6 version, which is a bit annoying and unexpected.
It doesn't support saving projects for versions older than X5, but if you don't need it like me for example. for a fellow who uses a 20-year-old Corel 9, it doesn't matter.
