Speed, I know I said it before, but SATA-III with 550 and this NVMe with ~3000 is somewhere else
When it comes to M.2, only NVMe and at that price it is simply irresistible for me.
I hope that it will last the promised TBW at least in ram, because it was one of the great things that distinguishes it from the competition, but now a few days after the purchase and migration of the disk in my PC I can not guess how it will turn out. The older Intel and Samsung I have so far have been running for several years without problems. Although another SSD in NTB died after a year and was replaced by Samsung EVO and so far OK.
Price
M.2 will take 2x SATA slots from my board, but if you have 6 of them and this drive is ~6x faster than SATA, there is nothing to worry about. Buying an M.2 drive in SATA-III design makes no sense. But NVMe is a different story.
It is necessary to migrate OS and apps, but with Macrium software it is quite easy.

larger data after filling the flash transfers at a constant speed of about 960 MB/s
