This mouse will be good as the first "proper" gaming mouse, as a gateway to the world of corsair. The software is an absolute abomination. By default, the mouse has a very bad DPI setting, so you have to download the app, reconfigure the DPI and then uninstall the software. You'll be glad you were able to find the DPI setting at all. After about an hour of playing, my wrist started to hurt terribly. I thought my hands weren't that big, but I guess the opposite is true. The mouse was too small and low for me, so I couldn't hold it comfortably. Don't be fooled by changing the pencil battery. You have to move the mouse cover towards you and push very hard. Personally, I really didn't like the mouse, but I guess I'm just not its target. A few years back I would have been absolutely thrilled with a mouse like that.
