The power supply came in a really big box and well packaged. You may feel that you have bought a better product. The power supply weighs something too, 1.9kg. Dimensions are 150 mm x 85 mm x 180 mm. You should have a gap between the side panels of 3-4 cm for installing cables from the side. It still fit in the Evolveo T4. The cables are not extra stiff and can be used normally in the case. Their length is sufficient for a midi tower with a reserve. If you are deciding between 850x and 1000x, take the stronger one. Anyway, a PC only eats as much as it has to, and the reserve is always good for gnarly intel CPUs, Radeons XTX and RTX x090s.

when the fan is running, the sound is very quiet
this power supply solved PC instability under gaming load with R7 5800X and RTX 3080 with a total of eight helicopters in the case, two HDD, one SSD, one NVMe and DVD drive
a bit warm to the touch during operation, but perhaps the Corsairs know what they are doing (this is not necessarily a negative)
none of the cables are braided
if you would like additional cables, you only need to get their corsair type 4 cable set with reduced terminals on the power supply side (the other side to the device is standard size)
price, but for the quality (as I hope) the user has to pay extra, but in the future I have a component that I will use when building a new PC

My third Corsair power supply. I can't judge how it behaves when forced to work at its limit, but for my purposes as a casual user, I'm fine with it. It is quiet and reliable, the system is stable with it. The cable outlets towards the right side of the cabinet are also a good idea, so that they are not visible (in new concept cabinets)
