The mouse is definitely more reliable on the tablecloth. I've tried cleaning the sensor, putting in a new battery, and still the mouse on the pad only works as it pleases. And that's not very good.
Washer with gel
I have an Eternico wireless mouse and it just doesn't run on the pad. Unusable.
