I had a Soundblaster Z before that, which sounded nice and the sound was certainly better than from the motherboard. But this AE-9 is in a different class. The sound is incredible!

My card was glitching, the sound would occasionally crackle and the left speaker/earpiece would go mute out of the blue. I couldn't solve the crackling, there were several "solutions" on the internet, updating BIOS, drivers, none of it helped, it still crackles sometimes. I can't listen to it.
