The price was the best back then
It doesn't have DRAM, I don't know exactly if it's slow because of that. I use it as an external drive.
I was unable to reach the maximum speed supported by the SSD controller.

For the money, the drive is unbeatable. In benchmarks, it achieves the manufacturer's claimed speed. It works great for large files, it keeps writing 500 MB/s after the cache is full. Unfortunately, it doesn't have a very good chip - if you have a game that's built on small files, loading can be slower than with a quality 2.5" SSD. Few games are affected, and the difference is only a few seconds, but you notice it. Otherwise, it's great.
